Email Fraud alerts - Restore UK

These emails claim that your name may be simular to one of the frozen accounts and they want to share a sum of money.
Please delete these emails and do not reply as they are fraudulent.
If you have received an email asking you to pay for a "BBA Work Eligibility Certificate" or have received an e-mail from customer.services@bba.org.uk or management@allbanks.org please delete it and take no further action. These are frauds.
These are the details, one by one:
1. Recently a fraudster has been targeting Indian jobseekers, giving promises of work in the UK if a sum is paid for a work eligibility certificate. The person named in the email is not known to the British Bankers' Association; the address given is not a BBA office; and the BBA Work Eligibility Certificate does not exist.
2. Fraudsters have been sending the following e-mail, apparently from customer.services@bba.org.uk:
Dear Customers
Due to concerns, for the safety and integrity of your bank account we have issued this warning message.
It has come to our attention that your Bank account information needs to be updated as part of our continuing commitment to protect your account in this year 2008 and to reduce the instance of fraud on banking websites. If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and update your personal records you will not run into any future problems with the online service.
Once you have updated your account records your bank account service will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.
3. A similar fraud, apparently from management@allbanks.org, runs (sic):
Financial Services Institution is constantly working to increase security for all Online Banking users
Due to concerns, for the safety and integrity of your bank account we have issued this message.
You will need to verify the legitimate account holder of any of your Bank listed below:-
Once you have updated your account records through your bank, your account will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.

The British Bankers' Association does not contact bank customers nor other members of the public by email except in reply to their queries. Certainly we will never ask you to verify personal information or account details via email. If you receive a suspicious email which appears to come from us, please let us know at info@bba.org.uk.
