DCFS

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) is responsible for improving the focus on all aspects of policy affecting children and young people.

The department leads work across Government to improve outcomes for children, including work on children's health and child poverty.

The DCFS replace Department for Education and Skills (DfES).
