BBA Briefing on the Financial Conduct Authority
02/02/2012
The BBA’s hosted a sell-out keynote briefing on the Financial Conduct Authority in the last week of January 2012, attended by over one hundred delegates who assembled to hear what the seminal shift in UK regulatory architecture will mean for the industry in practice.
Speakers at the event were Martin Wheatley, Managing Director of the Financial Services Authority and CEO Designate of the Financial Conduct Authority; Adam Philips, Chairman of the Financial Services Consumer Panel; and Tony Boorman, Principal Ombudsman of the Financial Ombudsman Service. We have reproduced the speeches here, along with opening remarks from Angela Knight, and hope you find them useful.
