Joint letter to George Osborne regarding proposed EU financial transaction tax

The key trade associations representing both the users and providers of financial services have today urged Chancellor George Osborne to continue to take a strong stance against the proposed EU Financial Transaction Tax (FTT) and to encourage the UK to work closely with those EU member states which also oppose the proposals.
The assocations' serious concerns are set out in the attached letter.
