Annual International Banking Conference 2011

Taking Action – Delivering Change

Link to photos from the conference are available here.

The international banking community has seen unprecedented change since the onset of the financial crisis.  Within the past twelve months alone, the volume of regulatory policies and proposals issued and implemented has been vast. But uncertainty remains about the future of banking regulation.

This conference is about delivering change and building a strong financial landscape for the future. Banking is fundamental to economic growth, employment and wealth creation and will remain an integral part of the global economy. Banks will continue to rebuild their financial base and strengthen relationships with personal and business customers. But we recognise that despite the massive programme of change and reform already underway – unparalleled in history – there is yet more to come.
