Paid Communications Team Internship – 2 months

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team with parliamentary monitoring and writing briefs for parliamentarians
  • Support teams with desk research and insights gathering
  • Monitor and collate trade and consumer coverage
  • Monitor social, online and traditional media for trends and the identification of opportunities
  • Support team with social media feeds as required
  • Support the teams with online content generation and news stories
  • Review of publications, copy writing and editing
  • Support the teams with administrative tasks as needed
  • Support the team with planning parliamentary events and engagement activity

 

Essential skills required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • A basic knowledge of the major social media channels: Twitter, LinkedIn etc
  • An interest in the financial services industry
  • Ability to multi task, handling a number of projects and deadlines concurrently
  • Enthusiastic can-do attitude

 

Start Date: candidates must be available to start in mid-May.
