Upcoming SMR workshops

The proposed framework introduces a number of new challenges for banks while also exacerbating some of the issues banks are already finding difficult, including:

  • defining reporting lines and apportioning responsibilities
  • introducing and embedding appropriate and effective management information
  • recruiting and retaining the right people
  • increased documentation requirements.

In response to these challenges the BBA will provide banks with a comprehensive programme of face-to-face SMR workshops.  All are designed to support you as you implement the requirements of the new regime. We will ensure that each workshop, delivered by BBA Approved Trainers, is practical, interactive and applicable to your challenges. We also provide resources after the workshop to support you in making changes and embedding the learning.
